Abstract
The research analyzes discourses of nursing students to evaluate the influence of the application of a program for the promotion of mental health from a positive perspective. The results were expressed in three thematic cores: DEISAM strategy; practice and promotion of positive mental health for our personal and professional self-development; promotion of positive mental health, DEISAM and teaching; emerging 4 empirical categories in each core showing that the program contains in its design a set of comprehensive and sustainable actions that have significantly influenced the development of reflective and critical thinking to apply comprehensive care.
