Teaching

Fisheries Biologist (1984), graduated from the National University of Trujillo, I have the degree of Master of Science with a Major in Biotechnology and Industrial Fermentations (2008) and the degree of Doctor in Biological Sciences (2012) from the same University. Former Director of Scientific and Technological Research in the Regional Directorate of Fisheries (Pucallpa) 1987-1997, and former Regional Director of Fisheries (Pucallpa), 1991-1994. Publications of scientific articles in national and international journals and presentations at scientific events are related to Amazonian fish (Colossoma macropomum and Piaractus brachypomus) and river shrimp (Cryphiops caementarius). Author of two books: 1)Fattening of native shrimp from the coastal rivers of Peru. A study in a system of individual containers and with water recirculation", published in 2016 and 2) "Management of the interaction and cannibalism of postlarvae and adults of the freshwater shrimp Cryphiops caementarius (Molina, 1782), published in 2020. Professor at the National University of Ucayali (1991-1995). Principal Professor appointed at the National University of Santa from 1997 to date, where he teaches the courses of Scientific Research Methodology, Research I and II, Scientific Writing at the School of Aquaculture Biology; I have also taught Research I and III courses at the School of Teaching Biotechnology at the Graduate School of the National University of Santa, in Scientific Research Methodology, Research Seminar I, II and III, of the Master of Environmental Management (2013-2024). Also, professor at the Graduate School of the Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza National University of Amazonas (2016), in Research Methodology in Sustainable Development Sciences, for the Doctorate in Sustainable Development Sciences.
