Food Industry Engineer graduated from the National University of the Peruvian Amazon, with a Master's Degree in Food Technology from the National Agrarian University La Molina and a PhD in Engineering from the National University Federico Villareal. I currently work as a full-time Senior Professor at the EP Agroindustrial Engineering and Director of the Agroindustrial Technological Research Institute of the National University of Santa (UNS) and Head of the Food Microbiology and Toxicology Laboratory, Responsible for 2 Research Seedbeds. Former Administrative Vice-Rector in the period 2013-2015 at the National University of Santa. Teacher of the subjects thesis I, thesis II, Fruit and Vegetable Technology, cereals, Nutrition and food toxicology, Member of the teaching team that generated and managed the projects for the construction and implementation of the Agroindustrial Technological Research Institute. The research field is Cereal Technology, Andean cereals and by-products in order to give them added value. As well as processing of fruits, vegetables and functional foods. Responsible for 3 PNIPA projects with the position of coordinator, Responsible researcher for a UNS COMPETITIVE FUNDS project and two PRO CIENCIA-2022 and 2023 projects. Full-time Senior Professor of the Department of Agroindustry at the National University of Santa Cruz. I did internships at the University of Florida, in the United States -USA in the Department of Horticulture and laboratories, I also did an internship in the Biopolymers laboratory at the University of SAO PAULO in BRAZIL, I do research in functional foods, oils, waste use, beer, in the design and development of new products in cereals and legumes. Professor at the EPG-UNS, advisor of Undergraduate, Master's and Doctorate theses and ordinary member of the College of Engineers of Peru.
