Professional School of Civil Engineering

The studies in Civil Engineering offered by the Universidad Nacional del Santa through its school of Civil Engineering, are aimed at training professionals capable of applying their scientific and technical knowledge to the transformation and preservation of the physical environment for the benefit of society, as well as projecting, programming, planning, studying, calculating and designing Civil Engineering works; directing, supervising, and inspecting the execution of these projects; managing, operating, and maintaining civil works; and performing coordination, evaluation, specification, appraisal, and consulting duties. The focus of the Civil Engineer's work is clearly technical. The UNS provides the fundamental tools that contribute to the development of infrastructure for the country's development, such as: roads (highways, highways, railways, airports, tunnels, etc.), construction of physical structures for various social uses (houses, buildings, warehouses, etc.), and hydraulic and sanitary works.
