Professional School of Agricultural Engineering

The Agricultural Engineering program aims to contribute to the sustainable development of Chimbote, addressing the demands of different population sectors, preferably for the benefit of the majority. The Universidad Nacional del Santa, with its Agricultural Engineering program, develops agricultural sciences with a systematic approach, with scientific knowledge of the processes and phenomena of nature and society. It develops appropriate technologies to improve agricultural production systems, the conservation and rational use of renewable natural resources, and contributes with a curriculum model tailored to the reality of agricultural development in Chimbote and Peru. In the Agronomy program, we focus on competitive and sustainable production.
