Professional School of Biotechnology

The objective of this Biotechnology program is to improve human living conditions and improve the efficiency of production processes, thereby creating cleaner industries, which in turn contributes to greater environmental protection. The Biotechnology program trains competent professionals in bioprocess management, including the propagation and scaling of organisms of industrial interest, as well as mastery of analytical techniques for the control, evaluation, and monitoring of processes. They have a solid foundation in engineering and life sciences, and are competent to support decision-making in the application, control, and design of industrial biotechnology processes.
